Mammy Johnston's story began almost 100 years ago on the seafront in Strandhill Co. Sligo. The art of making ice cream has been in the Byrne family for three generations beginning with Mammy Johnston in the early 1930s. Now, in the hands of Neil Byrne who studied the craft attending Cattabriga Gelato University in Italy. His award-winning ice cream is now renowned in Sligo and the rest of Ireland.
